The History of the adidas Nizza

The first pair adidas Nizza trainers dropped in 1975, giving fans of the Swoosh brand an affordable sneaker that offered both performance and style. Though made for the basketball court, with a rubber toe cap and canvas upper, the kicks were quickly adopted by the lifestyle side of the market, whose attention was drawn to the versatility of the shoes.

Sadly, the Nizza fell out of the limelight almost as quickly as it had entered, and sneakerheads had to wait until 2017 for the runner to resurface. Fans’ patience, however, paid off, as the classic shoe, given a new lease of life under the Originals label, retained the classic elements that made it so popular to begin with.
